Welcome to The Positive Place for Kids
The future of our country rests upon the shoulders of the kids of today. Upon those same shoulders sit distractions and temptation that didn’t exist when we were children. Free time now is filled with negative distractions such as TV, video games, drugs, tobacco use, and more.
Boys & Girls Clubs of East Texas offers a positive alternative for kids. We provide a safe place to learn and grow; on-going relationships with caring, adult professionals; life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, and hope and opportunity.
We invite you to tour our web site and then come tour our Clubs.

The Changing Role of Philanthropy and Aging
"Since childhood, I've had a profound appreciation for the role of social services in society. I was raised in poverty, in a very troubled family. The Boys and Girls Club saved my life. It provided me with structure, support, and purpose when I badly needed it, and that experience instilled in me a lifelong commitment to philanthropy and community service."
